NBA players will visit Singapore from June 28 through July 1 as part of the Basketball Without Borders program under a deal announced on Tuesday between the US league and the Singapore Sports Council.
The NBA and world governing body FIBA use the Basketball Without Borders program to stress education and health and will visit Southeast Asia for the first time to work with 60 youth basketball players from across Asia.

NBA coaches and players will also take part in youth fitness programs and make donations to community groups of such items as sport equipment, clothing and school supplies.
The multi-year deal will see the NBA and Singapore Sports create clinics and competitions to tap into the growing popularity of basketball in Singapore, including the creation of more than 1,000 basketball courts.
"This partnership will build on that interest to improve the level of play and the overall health of Singaporeans," NBA Asia vice president Scott Levy said. "We're excited about the opportunity."
NBA talent will make other trips to Singapore to teach fundementals to young players.
"We are thrilled to partner with the NBA to bring one of the world's most recognized sports brands to Singapore's shores," Singapore Sports Council chief executive Oon Jin Teik said.
